It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Over the past few weeks you may have noticed the beautifully decorated Christmas trees appearing in windows and the return of beloved Christmas adverts to TV screens. This festive season there is an extra focus on spreading cheer and positivity after the tough year we’ve all had.

Decorating your home is an excellent way to lift your spirits and the spirits of those around you, and who doesn’t love a good excuse to make everything sparkle. The Christmas tree is the main focus of festivities in many homes; your tree can be as extravagant or minimalistic as you would like. I love the uniqueness of every tree as everyone puts a little bit of their personality into it.

Decorations can be bought, passed down or made. Crafting your own decorations is a great way to add a personal touch to your tree, and its also to create something which can be passed down for generations.

Why not knit your own decorations this year?  ‘Giddy Grazing’ would be perfect for knitting a Christmas tree garland to hang on the mantelpiece, or you could use ‘By the Fire’ to crochet a little Father Christmas to sit in the tree.

We’d love to see how you decorate your tree!! Tag us on our socials
